Itinerario
Alessandria considerata la città più importante dell'Egitto dopo il Cairo, esplorerai i luoghi più importanti di Alessandria, dove visiterai le Catacombe di Alessandria, il tempio del Serapeo e la fortezza di Alessandria.
Incontro, ritiro e trasferimento.
Alle 7:00 incontrerai la guida turistica nella hall del tuo hotel. Verrai prelevato da uno dei nostri furgoni privati con aria condizionata, dove inizierai il tuo viaggio verso la grande città di Alessandria. Alessandria si trova a 210 chilometri a nord del Cairo e ci vorranno circa due ore e mezza per raggiungere la nostra prima tappa turistica
La visita alle Catacombe
Le Catacombe sono la nostra prima tappa. Qui vedrai un mix di arte greca, romana e dell'antico Egitto. Le catacombe sono composte da tre piani. Visiterai la tomba principale, che conserva ancora incisioni, statue e simboli dei greci, dei romani e degli egiziani
Il Tempio dei Serafini
La tua prossima tappa è la Colonna di Pompeo del Terzo secolo. Il pilastro è alto 25 metri, realizzato in granito rosso Cigno, ed è considerato una delle ultime reliquie rimaste del Tempio dei Serafini.
Costruito in onore dell'imperatore Diocleziano, un tempo era una magnifica struttura, rivaleggiando con il Soma e il Cesareo.
Cittadella di Quitbay
La nostra prossima fermata ci porta alla Cittadella di Quitbay. Dopo il terremoto dell'XI secolo, il faro di Alessandria scomparve. Invece di ricostruire il faro, il sultano Qaitbay costruì la Fortezza di Alessandria per proteggere il nord dell'Egitto.

25/06/24Me and five of my friends took a journey to Alexandria. Mohamed Jemmey was our Egyptologist, Ahmed was our driver. I felt very safe in Ahmed’s ability to navigate the driving conditions of the large cities.. The van was clean and comfortable for the 6 of us. Mohamed was a delight. His knowledge is extraordinary. He continued to share his knowledge through the entire day. Mohamed has a pleasant manor and kept our comfort and curiosity at the forefront. We did so want to go on another adventure with them, but time was not on our side. Mohamed and Ahmed were absolutely the perfect pair to take visitors on any Excursion. Thank you both for the best day. and thank you for Ali who organised that tour for us on behave of Egypt tours club.

25/06/24After a 3 hour drive where you get to see some new developments, small towns and farms we started with the catacombs. My driver was good and quick from place to place. My guide was very informative, and patient while I took tons of photos. The catacombs were all in tact, and so cool to see these ancient spaces, carvings and rooms. From the catacombs we went to Pompey's Pillar which includes a lot of artifacts in the center of the city. Great variety of items to see and experience, a lot of sphinx statues. The citadel was in wonderful shape, hearing about the history was great, and the views of the city and Mediterranean were amazing. Lastly we went to a great lunch of whole fish, salads, and great dips with delicious bread. Traffic is insane in the city, best not to watch if you're a nervous driver.

25/06/24I booked for Alexandria tour with Egypt Tours Club and I was lucky to had Hussein as my guide and Medo As my driver. Alexandria is very beautiful city most of it is Greek Roman history, we visited the catacombs and the Roman theatre and the fort we also had wonderful lunch over the sea. The tour was incredible I even booked with them for Another tour. I totally recommend Hussein as the best guide in Egypt Tours Club if you are going for tour search for him.

25/06/24What a wonderful experience! Our guide Youssa was so full of energy and passion. He explained what we were going to see and tying it back to other sites we have seen. Our driver, Hassan was also amazing. Phenomenal driver and also provided details for buildings we saw to and from Alexandria. Highly recommended these two gentlemen, we felt as if we were long time friends!

25/06/24My tour to Alexandria was awesome especially since this is my last tour for Egypt. My tour guide Jemmey is informative and engaging. I was never bored and Jemmey made sure to answer all my questions about the places we visited. I really liked all the places we visited especially the fort which was beautiful and cool. He also takes great photos. I also really liked the restaurant that we went to as the food was delicious and yummy. It’s called Fish Market.

25/06/24We had a great time on this tour! Made most enjoyable by our guide Hussein. He was very professional and shared so much information on the history of Egypt. Hussein and the driver went out of their way to make the trip as comfortable and as leisure as we liked. Lunch was great with a fantastic view. The sites were all interesting to see and helped us understand more about Egyptian history. Thank you for a special day!
