Itinerary
Embark on a two-day journey to tour the prominent cities of Egypt. Begin your adventure in Cairo, home to significant landmarks such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. Afterward, take a flight to Luxor to discover its captivating attractions.
Meet, Pick-up, transfer to the airport
According to the arranged pick-up time, you will be met with our rep in your hotel, who will pick you up and transfer you to Sharm El Sheikh Airport, upon arriving to there, you will check-in and take the flight to Cairo, in Cairo airport, our guide will be waiting for you to pick you up and start your tour.
Pyramids of Giza Visit
Upon arrival at Cairo airport, your tour guide will meet you and provide transportation to the Pyramids of Giza. During the 3-hour guided tour, you will make three stops. The first stop will be at the great pyramid of Cheops, followed by a visit to a panoramic viewpoint where you can see all three pyramids. The final stop will be at the temple of valley and the great sphinx.
The Egyptian museum tour in Cairo
Enjoy 2 hour guided tour in the Egyptian museum where you'll learn more about ancient Egyptian history, legends, Kings and Queens, visit the treasure of the young King Tut Ankh Amen and his golden mask, and so much more!
Khan El Khalili bazaar walking
Your last tour will be a lovely one hour walk in Khan El Khalili. Here, you'll enjoy walking in the oldest Islamic streets; seeing many of the ancient Islamic monuments. Don't forget to take part in the Egyptian tradition of bargaining while you buy souvenirs!
After your walk, you'll be taken back to your hotel for you to enjoy the rest of your evening.
Day 2: fly to Luxor
Based on the flight details, you will check-out and be greeted by our representative who will transport you to Cairo airport for your trip to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, your tour guide will meet you and accompany you to begin your exploration of Luxor.
Visiting the Karnak complex
The first stop will be the Luxor complex of temples, namely the Karnak temples. At this location, you will get assistance to explore the extensive history of ancient Egypt, while seeing the largest collection of temples worldwide. Every subsequent monarch of ancient Egypt built enhancements to the temple complex as a manifestation of their reverence for the Egyptian deities. As a result, the temple had several expansions during different historical epochs.Furthermore, you will come across the renowned lake inside the grounds.
The Valley of Kings tour
The next stop will be the Valley of the Kings, a complex burial place of the Ancient Egyptians, hidden inside the hilly area located between the two limestone hills of Gurna. The Valley of the Kings has a grand total of 63 officially documented burial sites, including the recent unearthing of three more tombs. Within, you will get the chance to see three sepulchres, with the exception of King Tut's. There is one extra ticket available. You have the opportunity to get it at the designated site.
The Queen Hatshepsut temple visit
The Queen Hatshepsut Temple Tour: The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut stands out for its distinctive feature of being the only temple in Egypt constructed in a terrace configuration integrated into the cliff face. Hatshepsut, a renowned female pharaoh, donned a counterfeit beard and adopted the regalia associated with male pharaohs in order to assert her claim to the throne.
Lunch, Memnon stop, Fly back to Sharm
After having lunch at a nearby restaurant, you will be transported to see the Memnon colossi. Subsequently, we shall observe the Memnon sculptures. The sculptures in question are the only surviving ones that are positioned in front of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. These statues depict the pharaoh seated on his throne. Subsequently, we will go to the airport in order to board the return flight to Sharm. Upon arrival at Sharm airport, you will be transported back to your hotel.
