The Moon begins moving across the Sun. Start observation using the supplied certified eclipse glasses and follow the on-site safety instructions throughout the partial phase.

Daylight gradually dims and the temperature becomes noticeably cooler as coverage approaches approximately 95%. Complete final camera and observation preparations for totality.

Second Contact — Totality

Totality begins for approximately 6 minutes and 21 seconds. When the observation team confirms it is safe, remove the eclipse glasses and witness the solar corona above Luxor’s historic West Bank landscape.
