Travel from Amman to Petra along a scenic route with Mount Nebo, Madaba, Wadi Al Mujib and Kerak Castle.
A tour of several hours along a scenic route lies ahead. Start with Mount Nebo, where according to the Bible Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land. Continue to Madaba, known as the City of Mosaic, and see the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land at St. George’s Church. Travel along the ancient King’s Way, stop briefly for a photo in Wadi Al Mujib, then visit the remains of Kerak Castle. Afterwards, drive about 2 hours to Petra for hotel check-in and a leisurely evening.

Explore Petra, then travel approximately 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum for a desert camp overnight.
Visit Petra, the spectacular rose rock city and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabatean Arabs. Walk through the Siq to the Treasury, continue along the Street of Facades, pass the Theatre and reach the Royal Tombs. From Petra, the journey to Wadi Rum takes about 1.5 hours. Check into your campsite, where dinner and the desert night await you.

Explore Wadi Rum by 4x4, continue to the Dead Sea for beach time, then travel to Amman.
Hop into a 4x4 with your Bedouin driver for a 2-hour ride through Wadi Rum, seeing canyons, red sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Drive about 3.5 hours to the Dead Sea, 430 meters below sea level and described in the program as the lowest point on earth. At a beach equipped with locker rooms and showers, float in the salty water and cover your body with the dark mud. Proceed about one hour to Amman and check into your hotel.

Stop in Jabal Amman at Rainbow Street, known for its early 20th-century houses, cafés and restaurants. Transfer to Amman Airport to say farewell to Jordan.
