Drive north to the Roman ruins of Jerash. See the Hippodrome, the spectacular Forum, the Nymphaeum, the Temple of Artemis and the North Theatre. Then drive 1.5 hours to the Dead Sea, 430 meters below sea level. Visit a beach equipped with locker rooms and showers, float in the salty water and cover your body with the dark mud on the shores. Return to your hotel in Amman.

Continue to Madaba, known as the “City of Mosaic”, and see the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land at St. George’s Church. Travel along the ancient King’s Way, make a short photo stop in Wadi Al Mujib, then visit the Crusader castle in Kerak. Overnight in Petra.
