Leave Wadi Rum and drive about one and a half hours to Petra, the spectacular rose rock city. Prepare for walking over uneven terrain. Meet your local guide for a 2.5-hour introduction to Petra. Walk through the Siq to the Treasury, which rises over 40 meters and is carved into sandstone. Continue via the Street of Facades, passing the Theatre to the Royal Tombs. Return along the same trail to the main entrance, then transfer about two hours to your hotel in Aqaba.
