Wear modest, smart-casual clothing suitable for active churches and a synagogue. Covered shoulders and knees are recommended.
The visit includes narrow historic lanes, stone surfaces, steps and courtyards. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
Speak quietly, follow your guide’s instructions and avoid interrupting worship or private ceremonies. Access may be limited during services.
Photography is usually possible in outdoor areas, but restrictions may apply inside churches or the synagogue. Ask your guide before taking photographs.
The Cavern Church is traditionally associated with the Holy Family’s stay in Egypt. Your guide will explain the religious and historical background of the site.
Food and beverages are not included in the standard tour. Lunch can be selected as an optional extra where available.
