During your stay in Sharm, experiencing the essence of Egypt is essential, and a trip to Cairo is highly recommended. ETC provides a special day tour by plane, allowing you to explore the iconic sights of Cairo. You will depart early in the morning, arriving around 06:30 am, where your guide will be ready to escort you to the oldest street in Old Cairo. Here, you will enjoy a brief 30-minute walk to discover the rich history of Islamic Cairo. Following this, you will have the opportunity to stroll through Old Coptic Cairo, where you will spend another 30 minutes visiting a historic church. You will then proceed to enjoy a 45-minute Felluca ride on the Nile River, all of which occurs before the tour officially begins. You will begin your journey by exploring ancient Egyptian history at the Grand Egyptian Museum, where a guided tour will last for two hours. Following this, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant to satisfy your hunger. After lunch, your adventure continues with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, featuring three key stops. First, you will stand beside the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Next, you will proceed to the Panorama viewpoint, offering a stunning view of all three pyramids. Meet, Pick-up, transfer to the airport
According to the arranged pick-up time, you will be met with our rep in your hotel, who will pick you up and transfer you to Sharm El Sheikh Airport, upon arriving to there, you will check-in and take the flight to Cairo, in Cairo airport, our guide will be waiting for you to pick you up and start your tour.
Old Islamic Cairo Walking
Upon your arrival in Cairo, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to El Maiz Street. The walking tour will commence at the main gate, featuring several stops to capture photographs of significant mosques, schools, and Sabeel. The tour will conclude with a stroll through the oldest and largest market, the Khan El Khalili bazaar.

Following the exploration of Old Islamic Cairo, your guide will escort you along the main street of Old Coptic Cairo, where you will observe numerous churches from the exterior, as well as the Babylon fortress. Depending on the schedule, if the Hanging Church is open to visitors, you will have the opportunity to visit it.
Felucca Ride in the Nile River.
Following the remarkable experience in the historic Coptic and Islamic Cairo, you will enjoy an authentic glimpse of Egypt during your brief cruise on a traditional Felucca along the Nile River, where you will observe both sides of Cairo.
As We mentioned before, this tour is optional and will be conducted for an additional fee, provided that the weather conditions are favorable and we are able to proceed.
The Grand Egyptian museum Visit
Prepare for a remarkable segment of your tour, where you will explore ancient history during a comfortable walking tour of the largest museum, recognized as a key attraction in Egypt. Your guide will navigate you through its halls, highlighting unique and significant artifacts. The tour will take approximately 2 hours to cover the essential areas.
Pyramids of Giza Visit
Following lunch at a local restaurant, you will proceed to the Giza plateau, where you will make three stops to explore this remarkable historical site. Your first stop will be at the Great Pyramid of Cheops, recognized as the last remaining wonder of the ancient world. The second stop will be at the panorama viewpoint, offering a stunning view of all three pyramids, along with the opportunity for a camel ride to observe the nine pyramids in total.
The final destination will be the Temple of the Valley and the Great Sphinx. You will then be transported back to the airport to board your flight returning to Sharm.
It is important to obtain a visa upon arrival in Sharm and ensure it is stamped, as a visa for Egypt is required for visiting Cairo.
