Important practical details before this cultural and desert journey
Four nights in selected 4-star hotels, one night in a sleeper-train cabin and one night in a Bedouin tent are confirmed by the final inclusion list.
Breakfasts follow the accommodation plan, with four complimentary lunches. The camp description includes a traditional dinner; drinks remain excluded unless confirmed.
Day 2 ends with a sleeper train to Luxor. Day 4 includes an Aswan–Cairo flight operated by EgyptAir or Air Cairo according to availability.
A private qualified Egyptologist and standard entrance fees to the listed attractions are included.
Bring warm evening layers, closed shoes, sun protection, a small overnight bag and personal medication. Camp facilities are intentionally simple.
Wear modest clothing covering shoulders and knees when visiting churches and mosques. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.
A 15-minute camel ride by the Giza Pyramids is included in the confirmed package highlights.
