Egypt Solar Eclipse 2027 Tours

The total solar eclipse occurs on Monday, 2 August 2027. All packages listed here are planned around that fixed date in the Luxor region.

There are nine eclipse tour packages: three recommended Nile cruises and six additional Egypt journeys. A separate recommended Luxor eclipse day tour is also shown.

Our recommended packages are the 4-day Aswan-to-Luxor Nile cruise, the 5-day Luxor-to-Aswan Nile cruise and the 8-day MS Grand Palm round-trip cruise from Aswan.

The 4-day Aswan-to-Luxor cruise runs from 30 July to 2 August 2027. It includes three cruise nights and concludes after the Luxor eclipse experience. Archaeological sightseeing in Luxor is not included in this package.

Yes. The Premium West Bank Viewing Tour is a separate day tour on 2 August 2027 for guests staying in Luxor. It includes transfers from a Luxor hotel or Nile cruise, organized viewing services and return transfers, according to the confirmed booking.

The three recommended packages are Nile cruises. Celestial Egypt Odyssey, the 8-day Historical Tour, The Golden Shadow of Egypt and both 11-day journeys also combine the eclipse with Nile cruising. Chasing the Shadow is the Cairo–Luxor option without a Nile cruise.

Yes. The 9-day Golden Shadow package includes a Red Sea stay after the eclipse. The two 11-day journeys include Red Sea resort stays before the eclipse and subsequent Nile cruise.

The request form offers each duration from 4 to 11 days. Your preferred duration can include extensions around a selected package, subject to availability. The published itinerary determines the package's fixed dates and included services.

No. The eclipse day tour remains a standalone day tour. If you select it in the request form, the 4–11-day duration describes your wider Egypt trip and does not change the duration of the day tour.

Your email application opens a draft addressed to info@egypttoursclub.com with your selected package and basic travel information. Review the draft and send it from your email application. You can also copy the prepared request if the application does not open.

The recommended eclipse day tour lists certified eclipse glasses among its inclusions. For a package, check the inclusions on its own page and confirm the supplied safety equipment in writing before booking.

You can request private arrangements, extra nights, different hotels or cabins, guide languages and optional activities. Published group departures have their own fixed dates and booking terms. Any proposed changes require a separate availability check.

No. Eclipse timing and the path of totality are predictable, but cloud, dust and atmospheric visibility cannot be guaranteed. Viewing-site access and operational arrangements are subject to final confirmation.

Yes, with appropriate equipment and solar safety precautions. Cameras, binoculars and telescopes require suitable front-mounted solar filters during partial phases. Follow specialist guidance and the on-site safety briefing.
